About me
Hello, I am Olena Laukkonen. A graphic designer from Ukraine lived in Finland.
I create designs that help businesses sell.
I grew up in Ukraine with Finnish heritage—my surname reflects my roots and inspired my choice to build a new life here after the war began. Before discovering my passion for design, I worked for several years as an energy engineer.
In 2022, I earned my Graphic Design Diploma (IT STEP Academy) and am currently expanding my skills through full-time studies at Omnia Vocational School, in Finnish. I enjoy combining creativity with structure — designing visuals that are both effective and aesthetically strong.
My design work spans brand identities, print and editorial layouts, packaging, social media graphics, and web visuals. I’m driven by creating design solutions that are both effective and thoughtfully crafted. I believe good design brings clarity, joy—and connection.
